ACL AND COLLATERAL TEARS
When the knee's anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is overly stretched or torn, this is known as an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Typically, a force that presses the knee sideways causes injuries to the collateral ligaments. Not always, but frequently, these are contact injuries.
RECURRENT PATELLAR DISLOCATION
When the kneecap moves out of position, recurrent patellar dislocation occurs.
HALLUX VALGUS
Hallux Valgus, also known as a bunion, is a complicated valgus deformity of the first ray that may result in pain in the medial big toe and difficulties wearing shoes.
